For any person of faith, we live in perilous times.

Having said that, we have always lived in perilous times going back to the beginning…going back to the garden.

A wise Pastor once told me “You cannot worry about WHO is elected President of the United States if you believe that God still sits on His throne.”

This is true. I have held on to this belief for years. This election is no different, not really. It is ugly, sinful, hateful, and shocking. But, I will not worry.

I will not worry because God still sits on His throne and one day…one day, He will set the world to rights.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11
